1. Admission Requirements
A candidate must:
Plan 1
- hold a Master’s degree in Pathobiology, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biology, Medical Technology or equivalent in Biological Science from the Institute where be approved by Office of the Higher Education Commission with a minimum grade point average of 3.50;
- having carrier experience or research work published at least 1 article within recent 5 years in international or national peer-reviewed journals where a student's name must be the first author or correspondence. In case the applicant is the second author, he/she must share contribution equal to or more than the first author’s.
- fulfill the entry requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies;
- Submit a certificate of English proficiency with minimum admission score:
- IELTS - at least 3 or
- TOEFL INTERNET BASED - at least 32 or
- TOEFL ITP (test arranged by Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University) - at least 400
Important Notes:
- English proficiency score must be taken within 2 years up to the admission date.

- Exemption from the above conditions may be granted by the Programme Committee and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies under exceptional circumstances.
Plan 2
- hold a Bachelor’s degree or expect soon to receive a Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Biological Science or related in Doctor of Medicine, Veterinary Science, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Medical Technology from the Institute where be approved by Office of the Higher Education Commission, with a minimum grade point average of 3.50; or
- hold a Master’s degree in Pathobiology, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biology, Medical Technology or related field from the institute which approved by Office of the Higher Education Commission with a minimum grade point average of 3.50;
- students who are studying in Master’s program in Pathobiology may change student status to be Doctoral student in case that they already taken and passed courseworks at the Master’s degree level no less than 2/3 of total credits of the required courses and received a GPA of no less than 3.50 with approvals from the Master’s Program Committee and the Doctoral Program Committee as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

3. Required Documents
All documents must be scanned with a scanner machine into PDF format (maximum size 2 MB). Except a photo must be in JPEG format.
- English proficiency score certificate
- Degree certificate / Letter certifying that the applicant is in the final year waiting for graduation
- Academic transcript / Grade report
