Kevin John Kirk Language Specialist Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.

My name is Kevin Kirk and I come from Cambridge in England.

I have been working in Mahidol for almost 7 years and have done a number of things from writing the MU test (yes, it's my fault!) and editing students' written work - such as journal articles and research papers - through to teaching a range of subjects from English conversation to academic writing.

One of the advantages of working in an international university is the discourse I can have with people from all over the world; both as a teacher and over a coffee.‬

I love the interactions with the students and have learned so much about other cultures and how people learn; allowing me to research and develop new teaching methodologies that I am including in an English learning textbook I am just in the process of finalising.

As native speaker employed in the faculty of graduate studies, I work with the young Thai teachers who, although straight from university, are incredibly keen and eager to gain their English language teaching skills by working with you.

We also have a Kenyan national, with a doctorate, who will be doing very thorough job editing your thesis abstract, together with a detailed expert analysis; whereas, I do the online abstract editing. If you are ever in Salaya why not pop in and say hello to us.

"I wish you the very best of luck with your studies."
