Submission of English Proficiency Score
English Proficiency score submitted by applicants is no longer accepted for admission.
Applicant who hold a TOEFL-IBT or IELTS must request his/her test center to send a score certificate directly to the Language Center, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University. Importantly, the applicants must also ensure that the score will reach the university within the application deadline.

Application Fee
All applicants are required to pay the non-refundable application fee of 500.00 THB to apply for each program.

Applicants must upload a scanned copy of following documents (PDF format) through the Online Admission System:- Degree Certificate (English Translated)
- Academic Transcript (English Translated)
- Photo (jpeg format)
- Passport
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Health Certificate
- Recommendation Letters (to request via online admission system)
- Additional documents:
e.g. Statement of Purpose, Letter of Work Experience, Professional License, Publications, Scholarship Letter, Research Proposal, Concept Paper, etc. - English Proficiency Score Report (directly sent by the test center)

- Accept only English proficiency scores which directly sent by the authorized test centers to the Language Center, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University within the application deadline.

- English proficiency score must be 2-year validity up to the application date.
- TOEFL-ITP must be arranged by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University only.
TOEFL-ITP Examination Centers Test Score Certification - The set of English proficiency scores mentioned in the table above is the criteria for admission purpose only. All students are still required to meet the English proficiency standards for graduation before taking examination of thesis defense.

Consideration and Selection
After submitting the online application, the consideration on admission shall be made by the committee of your applying program.
The selection methods will be arranged by individual program. It is mainly based on reviewing of application documents and may also include other additional procedures as necessary (e.g. interview, written examination, placement test, VDO presentation, publications, etc.).
Evaluation criteria is a combination of various factors such as applicants’ academic merit, expectation and purpose, standardized English score, relevant work experience, the potential for future contributions to the academic or professional fields, number of acceptable seats, financial capacity, availability of an appropriate supervisor and institution's resources, etc.
Admission Result
After the consideration is complete, applicants will be informed the result via email. The acceptance letter along with relevant documents will be issued for successful applicants so that he/she can proceed to enrollment at the university.
Verification of Academic Records
To secure the admission standards, successful applicants must complete the verification of academic records procedure before the semester starting date (or as assigned by the Faculty of Graduate Studies), otherwise his/her admission status may be considered of termination.
- Verification of Graduation
All successful applicants must request his/her previous university to directly send an authentic academic records to Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol university.
- Equivalent Qualification
Successful Applicants who graduated from academic institutes outside Thailand must additionally submit a request for Equivalent Qualification to “The Office of the Bureau of Higher Education Standard and Quality, Thailand.

Since the entire process may take time (up to 90 days or greater), successful applicants are highly advised to early start the procedure as soon as possible.

New Student Check-In
After arrival, all new students must come to check-in (in person) and pay a new student check-in fee at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol university, Salaya campus. This process is required to officially obtain a student status at Mahidol university.
