Additional advantages of the programme

The programme of microbiological public health provides not only deep but also wide knowledge regarding controlling and solving problems of micro-organisms and the environment systematically. Students will be able to use biological technology in the community. They will be able to create innovations and research in microbiological public health to develop human beings' quality of life. Moreover, students will learn useful communication and information technology skills. Their leadership and teamwork will be improved. Finally, they will do ethical work and research.

Admission Requirements

1. Hold a Bachelor's degree of Science in Public Health, Microbiology, Biology, Nursing Science, 
    Medical Technology, Pharmacology, Agriculture, or related to Biology or Health Science, or 
    Bachelor's degree of Public Health, Nurse, or Doctor of Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary 
    Medicine with grade point average not less than 3.5.
2. Hold a Master's degree of Science in Public Health, or other Master's degrees of Science, or 
    other Master's degrees that are related to Biology or Health Science with grade point average 
    not less than 3.5 or
3.Study in Program Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Program (Microbiology) and Would like to 
   pursue further in this program, they must have taken at least 2/3 of total credits in required 
   courses with grade points average not less than 3.5 and an approval of Administration Program 
   Committee of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology (M.Sc. in Public Health), Public Health 
   Microbiology (Ph.D.), and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies

Job option after graduation


- to work in government or private sectors of national or international organizations.
- to work as an expert, researcher, or a lecturer in a university or in other institutes such as the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Interior, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Institute of Nutrition, food factory, cosmetic factory, wastewater treat factory, WHO, UNICEF, FAO, and etc.
