The program aims to prepare English language teachers with a solid foundation of theories and methodologies to be applied both in professional development and the development of instructional process to meet various needs of learners.

Admission Requirements

1. Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field with a minimum GPA of 3.00
2. Other requirements shall follow those that specified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies
3. Qualifications different from 2 may be considered by the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Job option after graduation

1) Scholars in Applied Linguistics, teaching English as an international language or teaching foreign languages; 
2) Scholars and researchers in Applied Linguistics including language teaching and learning, language learning and acquisition, language education, language teacher education, language analysts, and communication analysts;
3) Language expert professions including translators, writers, school administrators, curriculum developers, and linguistic annotators, for example.
