Additional advantages of the programme
Mission of Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering Program is to
develop highly qualified and committed professionals in skill, knowledge and capability for the
integration of both Environmental and Water Resources Engineering fileds. Both disciplines will be
used to achieve the targets and solving the real life problems in Thailand and around the World.
Graduates will be consolidated to be experts for synthesizing, designing, evaluating and adapting the
tools in both fields for innovation or extension of research and new technologies. Moreover,
the graduates have to respond to society and the country by virtue and moral values.
Admission Requirements
Plan 1.1 For Students Holding M.Sc. Degree
(1) Applicants must hold a Master's degree in any field of Engineering or Science from institutions
recognised by Office of Higher Education Commission.
(2) Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.
(3) Must have English score according to the requirement by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
(4) Must exhibit experience and readiness to work as independent researcher at the doctoral level.
Should have the evidence through research proposal in English. And have at least one publication
either in an academic journal or presented at the international conference with the proceedings.
(5) Exceptions to the above items may be made by the Program Administrative Committee and
the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Plan 2 Course Work and Research
1. Plan 2.1 For Students Holding M.Sc. Degree
(1) Students must hold a Master's degree in any field of Engineering or Science from institutions

(2) Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.
(3) Must have English score according to the requirement by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
(4) Exceptions to the items (1) and (2) may be made by the Program Administrative Committee
and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies.
2. Plan 2.2 For Students Holding B.Sc. Degree
(1) Students must hold a Bachelor's degree in any field of Engineering or Science from institutions
recognised by Office of Higher Education Commission.
(2) Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.
(3) Must have English score according to the requirement by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
(4) Exceptions to the items (1) and (2) may be made by the Program Administrative Committee
and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies.
