Additional advantages of the programme

The program is research oriented program with the special emphasis on surface science, advanced materials, composites engineering materials, nano-materials, biological materials, corrosion and molecular engineering.

Admission Requirements

Plan 1 Research Only
Plan 1.1 For student with a Master's degree
1) Holding a Master's degree in science or engineering or other related fields in which accredited by the Office of the Misnistry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
2) Having at least 1 international research publication in journals indexed with Web of Science or Scopus and research experience in the field related to materials science and engineering 
3) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50
4) Having an English proficiency examination score as per requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies
5) Applicants who have different qualifications mentioned in No. 3) to No. 4) may be considered by the Program Director, Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies

Plan 2 Coursework and Research
Plan 2.1 For students with a master's degree 
1) Holding a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering or other related fields in which accredited by the Office of the Misnistry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50 
3) Having an English proficiency examination score as per requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies 
4) Applicants with different qualifications mentioned in No. 2) to No. 3) may be considered for admission by the Program Director, Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies 

Plan 2.2 For students with a bachelor's degree  
1) Holding a Bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering or other related field in which accredited by the Office of the Misnistry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50 
3) Having an English proficiency examination score as per requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies 
4) Applicants with different qualifications mentioned in No. 2) to No. 3) may be considered for admission by the Program Director, Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies
