The Ph.D. in Prosthetics and Orthotics is designed primarily for motivated clinicians, rehabilitation professionals and educators. Students interact and learn from experienced clinicians and researchers with a broad range of backgrounds and interests, and receive training in research and laboratory methods. Admission Requirements

Doctoral Degree Plan 1: Research Only
Plan 1.1 For students with Master's Degree Applicant
1) Hold a Master's degree in prosthetic/orthotic or related fields which is accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation or equivalence
2) Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 or equivalence
3) Have an English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
4) Have research proposal in prosthetic/orthotic or related fields 5) Exemption from above criteria may be considered by the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University. Plan 1.2 For students with Bachelor's Degree Applicant 1) Hold a Bachelor's degree prosthetic/orthotic or related fields which is accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation or equivalence
2) Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 or equivalence
3) Have an English Proficiency Examination score as the requirement of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
4) Have research proposal and a publication in prosthetic/orthotic or related fields as a research article in a journal indexed in the international database. The authorship should be either principle investigator (PI) or corresponding author. 5) Have a minimum of two-years working experience in prosthetic/orthotic or related fields
6) Exemption from above criteria may be considered by the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University. Doctoral Degree Plan 2: Coursework and Research Plan 2.1 For students with Master's Degree Applicant 1) Hold a Master's degree prosthetic/orthotic or related fields which is accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation or equivalence
2) Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 or equivalence
