Mr. Ubin Pokharel

"When you have options, always choose something you feel comfortable with", was one of the earliest morals that was embedded into my mind. So when it came to choosing a university for my postgraduate degree, I felt comfortable with Mahidol University as soon as I contacted it. It is well-established, research-oriented, technology-driven and, above all, close to my home. It has been just over a year since I joined this university and I can already see what a good decision I made in choosing Mahidol. Working day to day with my Thai colleagues, who always seem to have a smile on their face and a "Mai-Pen-Rai" attitude, indeed has been a memorable experience. I believe all the new students who have chosen this university will be soon wrapped with warm hospitality by this university and Thai society in general. I would, thus, like to welcome all new foreign students to this university, where teaching and learning is always accompanied with a smile.

I'm Miss Cui Ronghua, from China, first-year Master's degree student, with an emphasis in Educational Management (International Program), Department of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities. I chose to study at Mahidol University because it is the only top university which offered courses in my field of interest. I wanted to study in Thailand as well. Also many Thai friends recommended this university. Then I found the people at Mahidol to be friendly, and the environment is excellent. The most important thing I learned from studying here is the ability to analyze real-life problems more critically. The coursework made me do a lot of thinking. The lecturers were very friendly and helpful. The Students' Union and Student Services are very good as well.
