The Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the graduate programs within faculties, institutes, and colleges in Mahidol University, has the announcement for “The 60th Year Supreme Reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Scholarship” the academic year 2014

The screening selection committee has considered the scholarship “The 60th Year Supreme Reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Scholarship” Academic Year 2014, whose names are listed below, are selected.

Inclusion and duration of the scholarship

Type of scholarship
Scholarship Type I :

Course/donor funds from other agencies to support school fees 9,400. - Per year

- Doctorate degree level For a period of three years.

- Master’s degree level For a period of two years.

Course /donor funds from other agencies to support the cost of registering a thesis.

- Doctorate degree level No more than 25,200. - Per capita.

- Master’s degree level No more than 8,400. - Per capita.

The Program and the Graduate School are willing to pay the cost of enrollment/ the course / field of study in which student belongs

Other courses, excepting the cost of the course, the fee for field studies special equipment, and the research for the thesis.

Scholarship Type II :

The scholarship recipient will have graduate tuition fees wowed for the courses for the student’s degree program /Work-Site Study Fee / Equipment and Facilities Fee and Research Supplies Fee 

Scholarship Type III :

The scholarship recipient will have graduate tuition fees wowed for the courses under the student’s degree program only.

Duration of the scholarship
Doctorate degree :        3 years.
Master’s degree :          2 years.

Conditions for scholarship
If the student who has been announced as the recipient of a scholarship 60th Year Supreme Reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej according to the above list wish to cancel to receive the scholarship please inform the Graduate, the deadline is the 15th  May 2014.

Considered to equity or suspension of the scholarship
The suspension of scholarships based on GPA in each semester.
- Doctorate degree scholarship recipients must have a GPA in an academic year not lower than 3.50
- Master’s degree scholarship recipients must have a GPA in an academic year not lower than 3.25

Students must submit a report and the progress in every semester to advisor through the Chairman of the Program Committee after that submit at the Student Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya.

Termination of the scholarship
1. At the end of the agreed scholarship period.
2. The scholarship recipient renounces the scholarship.
3. The scholarship recipient is dismissed, or resigns as a student, or takes a leave of absence without good reasons.
4. The recipient is involved in any misconduct or disciplinary actions according to the regulations of Mahidol University and/or the program/ faculty/ college to which the scholarship recipient belongs.
5. The Chair of the Program to which the scholarship recipient belongs, requests the suspension of the scholarship.
6. The scholarship recipient shows poor academic performance as follows:
- Doctorate degree scholarship recipients have a GPA in an academic year lower than 3.50
- Master’s degree scholarship recipients have a GPA in an academic year lower than 3.25
7. The registered course evaluation report shows a result of C or U.
