CULTURE TRIP: 2 days / 1 night to explore the Thai Lifestyle of
Amphawa Community (Thai Riverside Lifestyle)

The Faculty of Graduate Studies
would like to invite all foreign graduate students to join
"Culture Trip" to Amphawa, Samut Songkhram Province
February 1-2, 2013.

* Maximum 40 students.

Friday 1 Feb, 2013

8.30 hrs. Check-in at Faculty of Graduate Studies Building

9.00 hrs. Depart to Amphawa, Samut Songkram Province

10.30 hrs. Visit “BAN PINSUWAN BENJARONG”

11.45 hrs. Visit “WAT BANG KUNG”
(One of the Unseen Thailand wonders.
The Buddhist temple is covered with large trees.)

12.30 hrs. Check-in & Lunch at “BAN TOR SANG AMPAWA HOMESTAY”

14.00 hrs. Visit “WAT PHUMARIN”
(One of the best-known historic temple in Thailand.)

15.00 hrs. Refreshment at homestay

17.30 hrs. Dinner

18.30 hrs. Take a boat tour along the river appreciating life on both sides of
the river and shopping at Amphawa floating market

20.00 hrs. Take a boat to watch fireflies

21.00 hrs. Arrive at homestay

07.00 hrs. Give alms to a Buddhist monk

07.30 hrs. Breakfast

10.00 hrs. Check out

10.30 hrs. Visit Coconut Sugar Factory and attend a session demonstrating
how to make coconut sugar.

11.15 hrs. Shopping at “Dam Noen Saduak Floating Market”
& Lunch (on your own)

12.30 hrs. Depart to “Sanam Chandra Palace” in Nakhon Pathom

14.00 hrs. Visit “Sanam Chandra Palace” in Nakhon Pathom

17.00 hrs. Arrive at Salaya campus

Proposed Conditions of Participation:

1. This program is limited to 40 international graduate students.

2. Online registration is available until Thursday 24th January, 2013.

3. Applicants are required to pay a total of 500 baht for their trip reservation.
The payment must be made by 28th January (office hours)
at any branch of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

4. Cancellation must be made by Thursday 24th January, 2013;
otherwise you will be fined for 500 Baht.

5. Applicants on the waiting list can check their status on Friday 25th, 2013.

6. Applicants have to comply with all of these conditions to join the program.

7. The trip schedule may be changed without prior notification.
