Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University will hold a blood donation session on Friday 22rd June, 2012 at 09.00 a.m. 03.00 p.m., at Conference room, 4th Floor, Room 408, Faculty of Graduate Studies Building, Mahidol University,
Salaya Campus.
Please take time to donate blood and invite your friends to join you.

1. Requirements for blood donors
- Age between 18 60 years.
- Weight 45 kg. or more and healthy
- No hepatitis, jaundice, yellow body or eyes
- Previous 3 years no malaria, venereal disease, infectious disease, chronic cough, coughing blood, blood disease, asthma, allergies, chronic skin disease, heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, thyroid disease.
- Not on a diet.
- No high risk sexual behavior or sexual promiscuity, no history of drug addiction.
- No donation of blood after birth or abortion for six months.
- Women : not in menopause or during pregnancy.
2. Guidelines before donating blood
- Ensure that you have at least 6 hours sleep before.
- That you are healthy without a cold or taking any medicine.
- Ensure that you have eaten a meal with a low fat content.
- No alcohol drinks consumption within 24 hours.
- No smoking one hour before and after donating blood.
- Only donate blood once in three weeks period, except for a plasma or platelets donors.
- Have a person accompany you.
