 Faculty of Graduate Studies recognizes the important of public health and population health problems. Many of these problems are complicate linking to many factors that are impacted from the world problems. New interventions are needed to solve these problems by means of international teamwork and multidisciplinary guidelines. These concepts initiate the world top universities to build new groups with concept idea and skill agreeing to a new subject called Global Health. Therefore, to provide knowledge and understanding of global health and initiate the collaboration in global health research for graduate students and faculty staffs, Faculty of Graduate Studies have invited Associate Professor David L. Boyd from Duke Global Health Institute, Duke University to give a lecture "Current Topics in Global Health" for our students and faculties.
Dr. Boyd is Associate Professor of the Practice at the Duke Global Health Institute, Duke University, and is an expert in global health, cross-cultural medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine.
