• Students who want to graduate in academic year 2009

Graduate Diploma and Higher Graduate Diploma Programs
Requirements for graduation
1. complete full-time study according to curricula structures.
2. complete all required courses and obtain the grading record satisfying the requirements of the particular program.
3. fulfill the program requirements with a GPA of at least 3.00.
4. meet the non-native language proficiency requirement announced by FGS.
Condition of graduation
      Students must have met all the conditions of 1 to 4 to graduate. The program must submit the request for graduation to the Academic Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya via form
GR. 34 together with the grade report by April 20, 2010. After that, the Faculty of Graduate Studies will submit the request for graduation to Mahidol University Council in May 2010.
      If the program cannot complete the process by April 20, 2010, the Faculty of Graduate Studies will submit the request for graduation to the next Mahidol University Council meeting. Students should then follow the process for the graduation ceremony in academic year 2010.
Master's Degree Programs
Requirements for graduation
1. complete full-time study according to curricula structures.
2. complete all required courses and obtain the grading record satisfying the requirements of the particular program.
3. fulfill the program requirements with a GPA of at least 3.00.
4. meet the non-native language proficiency requirement announced by FGS.
5. pass a thesis/thematic paper examination with the result "Passed" (if "Passed with Conditions", the student must revise the thesis/thematic paper until the result shows "Passed").
6. submit the complete thesis/thematic paper together with abstract and diskette or CD (PDF File) to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
7. students in plan B must pass a Comprehensive Examination before the Thematic Paper Examination.
8. submit a document that shows that the thesis or a part of thesis is published or accepted for publication in a journal or an academic printed matter which has a peer review or is presented in an academic conference which has a peer review and proceedings.
Condition of graduation
      Students must have met the requirements for graduation:-
     1) students in plan A(1) (a thesis-only program) must have met all the conditions of 1 to 6 and 8 to graduate
     2) students in plan A(2) (a combined program of thesis and course work) must have met all the conditions of 1 to 6 to graduate
     3) students in plan A (2) with Code 49 must have met all the conditions of 1 to 6 and 8 to graduate
     4) students in plan B (a combined program of course work and thematic paper) must have met all
the conditions of 1 to 7 to graduate

      The program must submit the request for graduation to the Academic Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya via form GR. 5 by April 20, 2010. After that, the Faculty of Graduate Studies will submit the student list to Mahidol University Council in May 2010.

      If the process cannot be completed by April 20, 2010, the Faculty of Graduate Studies will submit the request for graduation to the next Mahidol University Council meeting. Students should then follow the process for the graduation ceremony in academic year 2010.


Doctoral Degree Program
Requirements for graduation
1. complete full-time study according to curricula structures.

4. meet the non-native language proficiency requirement announced by FGS.
5. pass the Qualifying Examination
6. pass a thesis examination with the result "Passed" (if "Passed with Conditions", the student must revise the thesis until the result shows "Passed").
7. submit the complete thesis together with abstract and diskette or CD (PDF File) to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
8. submit a document that shows that the thesis research work or part of the thesis research work has been published or accepted for publication in an international peer-reviewed academic journal.

The program must submit the request for graduation to the Acedemic Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya via form GR. 5 by April 20, 2010. The Faculty of Graduate Studies will submit the request for graduation to Mahidol University Council in May 2010.
      If the process cannot be completed by April 20, 2010, the Faculty of Graduate Studies will submit the request for graduation to the next Mahidol University Council meeting. Students should then follow the process for the graduation ceremony in academic year 2010.



• Students who cannot graduate before the deadline and do not want to pay tuition fees for first semester of academic year 2010
  Graduate Diploma and Higher Graduate Diploma Programs

  4. meet the non-native language proficiency requirement announced by FGS.

  Condition of graduation

        Students must have met all the conditions of 1 to 4 to graduate. The program must submit the request for graduation to the Academic Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya via form GR.34 together with the grade report by May 28, 2010.
        If students cannot meet this requirements, they must register to retain student status in semester 1/2010.

  Master's Degree Programs

        If the students cannot pass the thesis/thematic paper examination by May 28, 2010, they must register to retain the student status in semester 1/2010
        Students have 3 weeks after passing the thesis/thematic paper examination to complete the thesis/thematic paper, abstract and diskette or CD according to the steps for completing thesis/thematic paper.
        The program must submit therequest for graduation to the Academic Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya via form GR. 5.
        For student who in plan A (1)and students in plan A(2) with Code 49, the program will submit the request for graduation via GR.5 to the Academic Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya when the student submits a complete thesis and documents showing that the thesis is accepted for publication in the peer- reviewed journal or presented in an academic conference which has a peer review and proceedings.

  Doctoral Degree Program

              If students cannot pass the thesis examination by May 28, 2010, they must register to retain the student status in semester 1/2010
         Students have 3 weeks after passing the thesis examination to complete the thesis, abstract and diskette or CD according to the steps for completing thesis.
         The program will submit the request for graduation via form GR.5 to the Academic Service Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Salaya when the student submit complete thesis and documents show that the thesis is accepted for publication in the international peer-reviewed journal
