Ceremony of The Australian Federal Police (AFP) - Australian Embassy
Scholarship 2008 was held at the Faculty of Science Mahidol University
on Wednesday 28th May, 2008, 3pm. The ceremony started with Professor
Skorn Mongkolsuk, Dean Faculty of Science, welcome Acting Ambassador
of Australian Embassy - Ms. Bronte Moules, Mr. Hermann Metz-Manager
of Forensic Support and Data Centres, AFP representatives, Commissioner
of the Royal Thai Police Office of Forensic Science - Police Lt. General
Amporn Charujinda, Director of Central Institute of Forensic Science
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khunying Porntip Rojanasunan, and distinguish guests.
The Australian scholarships were offered to 6 staffs from the Royal
Thai Police Office of Forensic Science (RTPOFS) and Central Institute
of Forensic Science (CIFS) to pursue their study in the Master of
Science in Forensic Science International Program at the Faculty
of Science, Mahidol University. Each Scholarship is 300,000 THB,
covers tuition, thesis and research fees for 1 academic year. This
is a part of the Thai Forensic Science capacity building program
supported by the Australian government being endorsed through the
Faculty of Science Mahidol University.
The recipients were Ms.Kannika Sutthapodjanarux, Pol .Lt. Col.
Anusak Vanapagorn, Pol.Lt.Kiran Misser, Ms.Sritad Kantang, Pol.Capt.
Korn-Usa Techabowornkiat and Pol.Lt.Intira Suthipapha. CONGRATULATION
