Rational
Faculty of Graduate Studies realizes the important of high quality research for recognition at the national and international level. Moreover, Faculty of Graduate Studies stated that a graduate student, whose year enrollment is from 2008 onwards and conducts research involving human subjects, must submit his/her research and seek approval from the committee of the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The student must also complete a course, approved by MU-IRB and announced on the Faculty of Graduate Studies' website that introduces the students to the ethic in human subject research.
Therefore, Faculty of Graduate Studies provides Ethics in Human Research course for international students in the international program. This course will offer students a comprehensive understanding of Ethics in Human Research's principles and research submission process. It will also provide an opportunity to examine the difference of each research aspect, for example, science, medical science, social science and humanities, etc. The course will seek to have students achieve Ethics in Human Research's goals as well.
