A candidates must:

1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Public Health, Microbiology, Biology, Nursing Science, Medical Technology, Pharmacology, Agriculture, or related to Biology or Health Science, or Bachelor’s degree of Public Health, Nurse, or Doctor of Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine with grade point average not less than 3.5. 
2. Hold a Master’s degree of Science in Public Health, or other Master’s degrees of Science, or other Master’s degrees that are related to Biology or Health Science with grade point average not less than 3.5 or
3. Study in Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Program (Microbiology) and would like to pursue further in this program, they must have taken at least 2/3 of total credits in required courses with average grade points not less than 3.5 and an approval of Administration Program Committee of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology (M.Sc. in Public Health), Public Health Microbiology (Ph.D.), and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies
4. Submit a certificate of English proficiency with minimum admission score:

• IELTS   - at least  3  or
• TOEFL INTERNET BASED  - at least 32   or
• TOEFL ITP (test arranged by Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University) - at least 400

• English proficiency score must be taken within 2 years up to the admission date.

5. Exemption from the above conditions may be granted by the Programme Committee and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies under exceptional circumstances.
