The Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, values students who have graduated with distinction. In recognition of academic excellence, selected students are given the award and named in the Dean's List of academic year, 2011. The award details are as follows:

To honor students of the Faculty who have graduated with distinction

To enhance the quality and academic standards of the Faculty of Graduate Studies

The applicant must have attained at least a cumulative GPA of 3.90

The applicant must have completed his/her study within the period specified by the program.

The applicant must have presented his/her thesis by giving an oral presentation at an international academic conference and/or have published his/her research work in an international journal.

The award recipient will receive a plaque, a certificate of honor from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and have his/her name entered in the "DEAN'S LIST". The DEAN'S LIST award is also displayed on the recipient's transcript.

The applicant must have been a graduate student of the Faculty of Graduate Studies in academic year 2011. He/she must have completed his/her study by May 25^st, 2012.

The Chair of the Program Administrative Committee will nominate the recommended graduate students to the Faculty of Graduate Studies during the submission period. Those who graduated in 2011 can apply for the award and submit the application from now until Thursday September 30^th, 2012.

If the applicant has given an oral presentation at an international academic conference, he/she must attach the invitation letter for the presentation from the conference/seminar organizer with a copy of other presentation documents. His/her work needs to be presented before Thursday September 30^th, 2012.

If the applicant's thesis has been published in an international publication, his/her name must be the first name listed of the authors or of a corresponding author. He/she must attach the acceptance letter for publication from the publisher. He/she must clearly specify the name of the journal, publication year, volume and issue number. The applicant must also submit a reprint of the published work.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies will appoint a committee for the award selection. The committee will be composed of the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies as the Chair and the Deputy Deans as the committee.

The judgment of the Award Committee is final.
