The names of the journals, eligible for thesis publishing, are listed in the Faculty of Graduate Studies’ regulations. The names of the journals listed here are a minimum of the journals’ standard quality. Any student should seek for advice from his/her major adviser and/or program chair in order to select the most suitable journal for publishing the research.

  1. International peer-reviewed journals, both internationally and domestically published, must be in printing and/or electronic form. The journals’ current issue must appear in the following international databases:
    1.1. Web of Science databases, including:
             • Science Citation Index Expanded
             • Social Sciences Citation Index
             • Arts & Humanities Citation Index
    1.2. Scopus database
    1.3. Databases of specific fields:
             1) ABI/INFORM
             2) Criminal Justice Abstracts
             3) Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature (CINAHL)
             4) Emerald
             5) ERIC
             6) INSPEC
             7) International Pharmaceutical Abstracts (IPA)
             8) Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA)
             9) MathSciNet
             10) POPLINE
             11) PsycINFO
             12) PubMed
             13) Sociological Abstracts
             14) Zentralblatt MATH
            
  2. Peer-reviewed journals, both internationally and domestically published, must be of international quality. They are:
             1) Asian Biomedicine
             2) Asian Pacific Journal of Allergy and Immunology
             3) Journal of the Medical Association of Thailand
             4) ScienceAsia
             5) Southeast Asian Journal of Tropical Medicine and Public Health
             6) Thai Forest Bulletin

    1. The databases and the journals’ names in this addendum may be changed. Please update at
        www.grad.mahidol.ac.th in “Academic Information” section.
    2. Journals with no peer reviews are not considered international.
