| 3. วัตถุประสงค์ ของรายวิชา |
Course Objectives
This course aims to provide knowledge and abilities as follows:
2.1.1 Ability to describe and apply the ethical theories and methods in food science and nutrition research
2.1.2 Knowledge of research methodology starting from formulation of research question to data analysis and inter-pretation, as well as ability to prepare and present research proposal
2.1.3 Ability to select appropriate research designs and methodologies for different research questions and demonstrate critical awareness of the assumptions of these methods
2.1.4 Ability to describe sampling methods, measurement scales and data collection instruments, and appropriate uses of each
2.1.5 Ability to analyze data using statistical approach and statistical analysis software
Course-level Learning Outcomes: CLOs
On completion of the course, the students will be able to
1. CLO1 Identify the principle of ethical approach in food science and nutrition research
2. CLO2 Explain research designs and methodology, as well as the key elements of a research proposal
3. CLO3 Present research designs and methodology suitable to the research questions
4. CLO4 Apply sampling techniques in research methodology
5. CLO5 Select appropriate data analysis procedures and employ computer program in statistical analysis
6. CLO6 Demonstrate ethical and moral behaviors, including self-discipline, honesty, punctuality, responsibil-ity to the assigned tasks, implementation of classroom agreements, and ethics in the uses of research results and findings |
