Admission Requirements

Plan 1 : Research Only  
(1) Holding a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering or related fields in biological sciences from an institution accredited by the Office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation
(2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50
(3) Having English proficiency examination scores as required by the Faculty of Graduate Studies
(4) Being the first author of a publication in a peer-reviewed international journal or two-year research experience in molecular biology or related fields
(5) Applicants with different qualifications from items (2) - (4) may be considered for admission by the program executive committee and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies.  

Plan 2 :  Course work and Research
Plan 2.1: For Student's with Master's degree 
(1) Holding a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering or related fields in biological sciences from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation

Plan 2.2: For Student's with Bachelor's degree 
(1) Holding a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or medical sciences  from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation
(2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50
(3) Having English proficiency examination scores as required by the Faculty of Graduate Studies
(4) Applicants who do not meet the qualification criteria in items (2) - (3) may be considered for admission by the program executive committee and the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies.
