Admission Requirements
Plan 1 Research only Plan 1.1: For students with Master's Degree 1. Holding a Medical degree (M.D. or M.B.B.S. or equivalent degrees) from medical school listed in World Directory of Medical Schools (https://search.wdoms.org/) and endorsed by The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation with the average grade not less than 3.50 and 1.1 or 1.2 1.1 Graduate from M.C.T.M. or M.C.T.M. (Tropical Pediatrics) 1.2 Graduate diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene or diploma in any medical fields and having an experience in research proofing by a publication in an international peer-review journal publication at least 2 publications 2. Have an English Proficiency Entrance Requirement according to the Faculty of Graduate Studies criteria 3. Exceptions to the above items may be made by the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies Plan 2 Course work and research Plan 2.1: For students with Master's Degree 1. Job option after graduation
- Medical doctors with in-depth knowledge in tropical medicine, both in theory and practice, working in hospitals, travel clinics, medical and organizations, both in government and public sectors
- General physicians with tropical medicine expertise, who can be community leaders, consultants or policy makers for prevention of tropical diseases in communities, national, region or worldwide
- General physicians with the expertise in clinical research especially in tropical medicine
