Additional advantages of the programme

The curriculum is designed to prepare students for a professional career in Pathobilogical science. Emphasis is on the basic principles and concepts of cell injury, particularly at the cellular and subcellular levels, in addition to changes at tissue level and the pathogenesis of several disease processes e.g. Parasitic infections, toxic agents and carcinogens. After completion of the programme, graduate students will be able to carry out their own research as well as teach in a medical school.

Admission Requirements

1. hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Biological Science or related in Doctor of Medicine, Veterinary Science, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Medical Technology from the Institute where be approved by Office of the Higher Education Commission, with a grade point average of at least 2.50
2. fulfil the entry requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
3. Exemptions from the above conditions may be granted by the Program Committee under exceptional circumstances.
