Admission Requirements

Plan 1: Research only
Plan 1.1: For Students with Master's degree
(1) Applicants must hold a Master's degree in science accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. 
(2) Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
(3) Applicants must demonstrate proof that their research articles have been published in international peer-reviewed journals or accepted for publication at the international level. Applicants should publish at least 1 research article, of which they must be first or corresponding author, within 5 years. 
(4) Applicants must have an English Proficiency Examination score as required by the Faculty of Graduate Studies
(5) Applicants with qualifications that deviate from those specified in 2 and 4 may be considered for admission at the discretion of the Program Director, the Program Executive Committee, and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Plan 1.2: For Students with Bachelor's degree
(1) Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in science accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. 
(2) Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.
(3) Applicants must demonstrate proof that their research articles have been published in international peer-reviewed journals or accepted to be published at the international level. Plan 2: Coursework and Research 
Plan 2.1: For Students with Master's degree
(1) Applicants must hold a Master's degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, medical technology, public health, chemistry, food science, veterinary medicine, medicine, dental surgery, pharmacy, medical science, or other related fields accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.  
(2) Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
(3) Applicants must have an English Proficiency Examination score that meets the requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
(4) Applicants with qualifications that deviate from those specified in 2-3 may be considered for admission at the discretion of the Program Director, the Program Executive Committee, and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
 
Plan 2.2: For Students with Bachelor's degree
(1) Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, medical technology, public health, chemistry, food science, veterinary medicine, medicine, dental surgery, pharmacy, medical science, or other related fields accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
