Admission Requirements

Plan I Research based/ Thesis only and Enroll in Joint Degree Program with University of Glasgow
For Master's degree holders
(1) Graduated in Master Degree in medical science, health science or other related discipline from academic 
      institute approved by the Office of Higher Education Commission
(2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50
(3) Pass the English Proficiency requirement announced by Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) 
      or IELTS score up 5 or TOEFL iBT score up 61 or TOEFL-ITP score up 500
(4) Have program-related research plan for PhD study. Must have research experiences and have 
      at least 1 published paper in international journal. Must propose tentative advisor and research 
      plan for the study. The research plan must contain cooperation between Mahidol University and University of Glasgow.
(5) Applicant with other qualifications than specified above may be taken into consideration by program director, 
      program committee and the dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies


Plan 2 Coursework based and Dissertation
2.1 For Master's degree holders
(1) Graduated in Master Degree in medical science, health science or other related discipline from academic 
      institute approved by the Office of Higher Education Commission. Or will graduated before the beginning of semester.
(2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50
(3) Pass the English Proficiency requirement announced by Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) 
(4) Applicant with other qualifications than specified above may be taken into consideration by program director 
      and the dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies

2.2 For Bachelor's degree holders
(1) Graduated in Bachelor Degree in medical science, health science or other related discipline from academic 
      institute approved by the Office of Higher Education Commission. Or will graduated before the beginning of semester.
(2) Having cumulative GPA not less than 3.50 or with honors
(3) Pass the English Proficiency requirement announced by Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) 
(4) Applicant with other qualifications than specified above may be taken into consideration by program director 
      and the dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies
