From December 17th to 30th, 2017, the Faculty of Graduate Studies students, Mahidol University, attending the "MU ASEAN BUDDIES IN INDONESIA 2017" program, visited Indonesia to participate in academic activities including a visit to a medical and public health section. The students also discussed health benefits issues in countries including Indonesia, Vietnam and China. The trips also included students' visit to the telecommunication organization and Indonesian noodle factory. These trips allowed them to acquire Indonesian culture; language, religious, food and history.

On December 29th, 2017, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Patcharee lertrit, M.D., along with Assistant Dean for International Affairs Augn Win Tun, Ph.D., visited Indonesia to participate in the "MU ASEAN BUDDIES 2017" program and went to Keti Praja Foundation (YKP), a non-profit and non-governmental organization for HIV women in Indonesia.
